Welcome 2021! After a super weird 2020 due to Covid, I think the entire world is excited about 2021 and the possibility of some normalcy to return to life. We spent NYE at home sweet home. We watched movies and watched the New York ball drop on TV at 11 PM (our time), and I was fast asleep before midnight. I think the kids and Kyle actually made it to midnight. I love a new year and all the promises a fresh start can bring. I didn't hate 2020...there was actually so much good that came out of 2020...my fav part was everything in life was canceled which resulted in TONS of time at home with Kathryn and Kaden. And honestly, at the end of the day, there is no place I would rather be than at home with my family. Our family has continued to be very blessed...we have stayed healthy, we have financially stayed stable, we still have our jobs, we never ran out of anything we needed, and despite all the changes this past year brought, we have stayed happy and have taken full advantage of our family time. We have played tons of game, worked many puzzles, took lots of walks, watched many movies, and have simply enjoyed being together. We thank God for each day he gives us, and the days of 2020 were no different. Cheers to 2021 and whatever it brings (which is hopefully no more mask wearing)!
