Halloween 2019

Halloween 2019 = Kaden dressed as Thanos from Avengers and Kathryn decided to not dress up.  I think next year I will opt to dress up as something with her.  She is definitely growing up, but I don't want her to think she still can't have fun.  And although she might be too big to trick or treat, she can still dress up and have fun!  The night before Halloween, we went to the Country Club for a fall festival.  It was fun!  The kids got to bob for apples, paint pumpkins, make caramel apples, etc.  They all enjoyed running around and playing.  Halloween night, we did our usual event at the Bowles.  We ate a yummy dinner...Jeremy always makes a delicious chili, the kids played, and we walked the Glenwood loop to trick or treat.  We made the loop in less than 30 minutes which was a record.  As the kids get older, it is definitely easier!  Kathryn also ran door to door with everyone and while she didn't trick or treat, she had a blast running around with everyone.  And, at the end of the night, she filled her purse with candy from the Bowles house.  I love this Halloween tradition!  The kids definitely look forward to this night each year!
