Venture River Water Park Fun

Last Friday, Aimee and I took the kids to Venture River in Eddyville, KY.  When I was in high school, I used to come to this park all the time with Brandon.  Being back definitely brought back some memories.  Even though it has been almost 20 years since I had been, the park was just the same in many ways.  And, we all had a blast!  Kaden rode his first water slide and absolutely loved it.  As soon as he went down, he screamed, "That was Awesome!!!  Can we do it again?"  And, therefore we rode that slide (the only one he was able to ride, and he had to ride in my lap) MANY, MANY times.  Kathryn and Maxx enjoyed several different slides (since they are bigger, they had more options).  We spent about 5 hours at the park making it well worth our drive and money.  I can definitely see this park becoming a summer tradition.  I didn't take many pics because I spent most of my time on the water slide with Kaden, but here are a couple from the day...
