We had an extended weekend due to Veteran's Day, and it was much needed. Friday night, Kyle and I went to the Kiwanis Dinner and Auction. We had a great time hanging out with friends. Saturday, the day was spent at home working on Kathryn's Thanksgiving Project for school (making a feather for the class turkey and creating a turkey). Kathryn had a blast working on that. Sunday, we went to church and that evening went to see the Lights Show at Cheekwood. The show was pretty neat and is something I would like to go back to in the future. This was my first Cheekwood experience. Monday was spent at home working around the house...laundry, cleaning out the garage, grocery shopping, etc. We did take advantage of the awesome weather and spent time outside playing. We know our days outside are limited at this time of year, so when possible, we want to be outside. Other than that, we are now on the count down to Christmas. We are just about 6 weeks away!!!
