Kaden: 8 months old

Kaden has been busy this last month.  He is saying sounds like "dadada" but he has not made any association with the sound.  He is trying really hard to crawl.  He does pull himself across the floor, but he is not crawling quite yet.  He loves to stand and bounce.  He also enjoys riding in the stroller.  He is wearing size 12-18 month clothes and size 4 diapers.  He is starting to slim up in conjunction with growing longer.  He weighs right at 21 pounds which means he has only gained 1 pound in 3 months.  He loves playing with toys, and he still loves putting everything in his mouth.  Most days he is a drooling mess.  He has 2 bottom middle teeth, and I think he is trying to cut some top teeth.  He current eat breakfast around 8 (8 ounce bottle and cereal and fruit), lunch around noon (6 ounce bottle and two containers of food...generally a fruit and veggie or 2 veggies), snack bottle around 3:00 (8 ounces), and dinner at 6:00 (8 ounce bottle and a container of food...generally a meat and veggie mix).  He goes to bed at 7 and wakes at 7.  He is overall a good, easy baby.  He gets cranky when he is tired (who doesn't?!?!), but other than that, he is easy going.  I am so blessed to be his mommy!!!

Fresh out of the bath, so his hair is slicked down wet, but he is still way too cute!!!
