This past weekend was slow paced and much needed. Friday night, we stayed HOME (minus dinner at Outback). What a fabulous night! Kathryn went to bed at her usual time of 8, and Kyle and I laid down to watch a movie. We were both asleep by 9. It was wonderful! Saturday, we spent the morning playing and being lazy. Saturday afternoon, Kathryn and I headed out to take pics for our annual Christmas card. Afterwards we got ice cream, and the rest of the evening was spent at home watching football. Sunday was a little busier. We got up pretty early and headed to Camden to visit Kyle's side of the family. Kathryn always enjoys these trips. She says we are going to "Camden's house." We have tried to explain that Camden is a town like Clarksville, but she doesn't quite get it yet. In Camden, we spent time outside playing ball, ring around the rosy, and duck duck goose. Time was also spent visiting Grandmother, Aunt Sandy, and Jonathan. Once we got back to Clarksville, we headed to my co-workers home for a chili supper. Ken and his wife Patsy were great host and served delicious food. It was fun hanging with my co-workers outside of school. And, Kathryn had a fun time coloring (and, I have to add here that she was so good while we were there). I love a fun family packed weekend!!!
