Kathryn made homemade Strawberry Jam

She made her own bread from scratch as well as her own peanut butter...her goal was to make a PB&J completely from scratch...and she did it!

And the cute bag she crocheted!

Need to say a little something about Mimi here...she turned 80 on July 25th.  Mimi is so loving...one of the biggest hearts...especially for her family.  She loves Kathryn and Kaden beyond measure.  When the kids were younger, Mimi was my life line.  The only reason I was able to have a social life was due to Mimi's help.  She was always there to pick up, help transport, and keep them overnight.  Mimi, we love you so much and are so thankful for all that you do for our family.  Happy 80th!!!

Kathryn's Sweet 16 Birthday Celebration

We celebrated Kathryn's birthday a little early.  Her BFF Avery was in town from Japan, and Kathryn wanted to celebrate while she was still in town...so that is exactly what we did!  Kathryn wanted to go pick flowers at the Steenberger Farm in KY.  So we gather at our home early, had Chick Fil A for breakfast, then headed to the flower farm.  The girls picked buckets of flowers, and we took lots of pictures.  When we got back to the house, the girls made bouquets to take home and we had Kathryn's fav cake...Chantilly Cake!  We did everything Kathryn wanted to do, which made this sweet 16 party the best celebration!!!
